As Australia's largest German festival, Oktoberfest Brisbane returns as a Deutsch extravaganza of sights, sounds, food, fashion and fun for the whole family.

EAT, DRINK AND PLAY THE GERMAN WAY.
ESSEN with German fare with pork knuckle, traditional sausage or German desserts. Wander through the Marktplatz for folk gift-stalls featuring German products and culture, including traditional German clothing designed especially for Oktoberfest Brisbane

TRINKEN in the Munich Biergarten or Oktoberfest Tent with friends, and sample the German bier, handcrafted, specially-made-for-Oktoberfest. Or here for the first time in Australia, enjoy red, white and sparkling wines from the Brogsitter Weinguter established in the 1600s and situated on the picturesque Ahr River in Germany.

SPIELEN with yodellers, authentic German dancers, leg-slappers and cowbell ringers throughout the festival and dance the days and nights with The Bavarian Oktoberfest Band, direct from Munich. Or enter the Miss Oktoberfest Brisbane Competition, the Schnucki Dirndl + Lederhosen Fashion Parade, or grow the best beard in Brisbane and take out the Beardmeister 2016 title. Enjoy Family Fun Day each Sunday, with activities galore for the kids in The Kinder-Zone. Have fun with rides, petting zoo and baby animals, face painting and the puppet show.
