MELT Vinyl celebrates the landmark second album of one of the most successful and pioneering band of the 80s, Culture Club, with Colour by Numbers.

A celebration of the greatest LGBTIQ+ albums, singers and icons of the past 50 years, MELT Vinyl brings the best in Brisbane’s music community together to pay homage to the messages, struggles and vocals of our LGBTIQ+ voices, kicking off with Culture Club’s masterpiece album, Colour by Numbers.

Brisbane’s Turtle Juice Records collective perform these infectious songs with guest vocalists James Halloran, Josh Daveta, Sellma Soul and Yani. Flamboyant, fun, sexy, soulful, colourful, androgynous and carefree, this music event will bring Culture Club’s energy to Brisbane Powerhouse.

From house churner Church Of The Poison Mind to the irresistibly catchy Karma Chameleon, don’t miss these charismatic Brisbane performers take on the album that set Culture Club into stardom.
