The 2017 St Jerome's Laneway Festival line-up has officially landed with modern-day icons Tame Impala, Gang of Youths, Glass Animals and Tash Sultana headlining this year’s extraordinary brigade of game-changing producers and much-loved contemporary bands. 

A testament to Aussie talent and new music in general, home-grown stunners Jagwar Mar, Koi Child, A.B Original and Nicholas Allbrook are just some of the legends representing on this year’s line-up. Aussie girls dominate the stages with Blue Mountains singer/songwriter Julia Jacklin, Melbourne punk group Camp Cope, hip-hoplyricist Sampa The Great and Jess Kent areall emerging as exciting new live talent. Returning to this year’s laneway, soul-pop man Nick Murphy (previously Chet Faker) joins Aussie muso’s Luca Brasi, Fascinator, two-piece band GL and silky electronica producer Roland Tings.

Jumping the pond to the Great Southern Land are international acts Tourist, Floating Points, razor-sharp Canadian punk-rockers White Lung, The Julie Ruin, Bob Moses, rappers Clams Casino and Mick Jenkins in addition to superbly talented songwriters AURORA and NAO. International acts also boast U.S band Whitney and popular minimalist techno act Tycho, Car Seat Headrest and inventive producer Mr. Carmack.

The 2017 St Jerome’s Laneway Festival is the thirteenth edition of the original inner -city festival, which began as a series of Sunday sessions performed at St Jerome’s laneway bar hidden within the Melbourne CBD. It has now grown to become a one of a kind music festival that goes big, deep and wide to celebrate both local and international talent.
