With the rise of boho bridal trends, our feeds have been saturated with beautifully relaxed looks with minimal structure, minimal makeup and artfully undone hair. Recently, however, we’ve begun to see a shift towards designer detail paired with high-impact looks, and let me tell you – we’re excited! This flamenco-feel is grounded in the focus on accentuating a woman’s body in a way that is both feminine and bold.
White Lily Couture’s recent collaboration with Mallory Sparkles Photography highlights this detail-oriented approach to bridal with their all-new collection from Spanish bridal powerhouse Rosa Clará. The range takes bridal design to a new level with sophisticated silhouettes and delicate details.
The gowns varied from sleek and modern form-fitting gowns to ornately beaded and finely crafted laces – each providing a uniquely balanced and timeless bridal style. The collection was styled with seriously statement jewels including large floral earrings, chunky gold drops and next-level crowns. As brides take bigger risks with their personal style on their big day, this is something we are beginning to see a lot more of in weddings.
Paired with chic up-dos by Twidale, bold red lips and golden-tinged lids by Blake Designs Makeup Artistry, and statement floral headpieces, the Spanish influence was undeniable. The rich red palette carried into the suits from Wil Valor with a deep burgundy suit jacket and pants topped off with a dapper black bow tie.
While the world of weddings leans towards minimalism it can be fun to splash out with a bit of colour and fun. The creative team at My Little Flower Shoppe nailed the brief with their spectacularly crafted headpieces and bouquets. Filled to the brim with berries, carnations and ruby red roses, the florals added the perfect amount of zest and colour to this fun-filled shoot.
