Easter is coming up fast and with that comes a string of celebrations and time with family for many of us. As much fun as Easter with the whole gang is, we’re sure those of you who are hosting family or guests for the whole 4-day working holiday are stressing—not only are there so many people to cater for, but there are always diets to work around and people who never arrive on time (there’s always that one person)!
To help take a little weight off your shoulders, we’ve put together a guide on where you can take everyone for food on Easter Saturday and Sunday. Let these places take care of your guests’ dietary requirements PLUS you can make a booking so that everyone has incentive not to be late!
Blackbird Bar and Grill
Riverside Centre, 123 Eagle Street, Brisbane CBD
For a venue with gorgeous riverside venues and fine Modern Australian food, look no further than Blackbird Bar and Grill. Lay back with your crew at one of their luxurious couches or tables and admire the Gatsby-inspired décor while the staff serve you delicious food and drinks. This joint is most suited to adults with a taste for class. Book in a table for you and your guests this Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday or Anzac Day; the bar is open from 11am, while the restaurant opens at 6pm.
171 George Street, Brisbane CBD
If you like Chinese food with a modern twist, Donna Chang is the perfect place for you. Portside Wharf, Hamilton
Located in the beautiful Portside Wharf precinct, Byblos is a lavish fusion of modern Lebanese flavours and Western culinary techniques. The venue is furnished with inviting lounge areas that suit any kind of dining group. Whether it be drinks with friends, a dinner with family or tapas with guests, Byblos can cater to you. For Easter, it would be best to book a table for one of the days that they are open: Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Anzac Day.
Lord of the Wings
Westfield Carindale; Indooroopilly Shopping Centre; Robina Town Centre
With multiple locations across Queensland, Lord of the Wings is a family dinner that is perfect for everyone. While they specialise in American style bites, burgers, chicken wings and ribs, they also offer a number of vegetarian appetisers, burgers and salads. There’s no need to book, either – simply drop in on Easter Saturday or Easter Monday; the Robina location is also open on Easter Sunday.
So, what are you waiting for? Get the crew together and let them know where to be and when this Easter long weekend! Once again, make sure you call and make a booking to avoid disappointment and make sure everyone arrives on time—Happy Easter, everyone!
