The latest addition to our fave e'cco Bistro's restaurant in Newstead has just moved up the ranks of our go-to lunch spot introducing a cheap and cheerful lunchtime special.

If you haven't stepped outside in the past few months (which we totally get), The Terrace opened up as an alfresco addition to e'cco Bistro in November. With a menu serving South-East Asian delights with a modern twist, you can expect to find the likes to chicken karaage milk buns, steamed bbq pork buns and Massaman coconut beef curry all on the menu.

Between 12pm - 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday you can now enjoy an entree and your choice of two mains for only $20! While the betel leaf and prawn with pomelo, coconut, lime and chilli serves as the star entree, you'll be able to choose between the noodle salad served with crispy salmon, chicken or marinated tofu, or the pork san choy bow.  Add on a refreshing house wine or The Terrace's own house-brewed beer and you'll have yourself one delicious lunch!

The Terrace are also offering other cheap and cheery specials including $1 Oyster Happy Hour every 4pm-6pm, Tuesday to Saturday where you can enjoy freshly shucked Sydney Rock oysters with every drink purchase. Happy Hour luckily falls at the same time with $10 cocktails, $9 wines, $6 beers & ciders and $6 basic spirits.

What: Cheap & Cheerful $20 Lunch Time Special
When: Available Tuesday - Sunday, 12pm - 3pm
Where: The Terrace by e'cco, Haven Newstead, 63 Skyring Terrace, Newstead Q 4006

About the author

Harbouring an unhealthy addiction of stopping strangers on the street to pet their doggos, Danica is a lover of the great outdoors.  While her greatest skill may be the ability to rap ‘Fergalicious’ perfectly, her inability to remember her left and rights has proven to be her greatest downfall in life. When she’s not on the beach or hiking up another mountain, you can expect to find her watching Unlikely Animal Friends for the 100th time while trying to satisfy her Tim-Tam addiction with surprise, suprise… another packet of Tim-Tams. It seems like no-one told her they aren’t a suitable daily breakfast.
