If you’ve ever wished for more choice on your lunch break or trip into the city, wish no more! There’s a new kid on the Brisbane market block and it’s bringing foodie delights to Cathedral Square.
Whatever kind of cuisine takes your fancy, the new marketplace will have something for you. From everyone's favourites bagels to Mexican food or vegan fare, some of the city’s best food stalls will be there to cater to your cravings every Thursday from 8am - 2.30pm.
But the fun doesn’t just stop at lunch offerings! The new Cathedral Square marketplace will also boast farm-fresh produce, Portuguese tarts, artisan provisions, beautiful and fresh flowers, seafood direct from the trawler, gifts and much more.
This Thursday July 25 is the marketplace’s grand opening, so mark it in your calendars and run, don’t walk, from your office to the markets! Your belly will thank you for it and you’ll be thanking us for your new Thursday tradition.
Brisbane City Markets at Cathedral Square is located on the Corner of Ann, Turbot and Wharf Street, across the street from St. John's Cathedral.
