Valley Of Spices: Sunday February 9

BrisAsia Festival's brand new event Valley Of Spices will celebrate the very best of tastebud-tingling Asian cuisine. 12 hawker-style street vendors will be dishing out spicy specialty dishes, as well as cooking demos to help you recreate the spicy magic in your own kitchen. The free event will also include live performances to help celebrate Lunar New Year.

For more details see the event listing here.

Beer Fest On The Grass: Saturday February 15

Thirsty? Good, because Eatons Hill Hotel's Beer Fest On The Grass is back and this year there'll be more than 130 beers and ciders to taste, from over 50 different brewers. The line-up includes Aether, Catchment, Gage Roads, Green Beacon, Hop Nation, Jetty Road, Moon Dog Young Henrys and Your Mates Brewing. Come for the frothies, stay for the adults-only beer comps (previous years have seen inflatable beer obstacle courses and keg-stacking tournaments) and tasty food trucks.

Tickets from $10, available here.

Sunshine Coast Asian Food Festival: Saturday February 22

Food, live music and top tipples – there will be plenty to offer the happy (and hungry) reveller at this year’s Sunshine Coast Asian Food Festival.

Now in its third year, the festival returns to the serene grounds of Spicers Tamarind Retreat in Maleny in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Indulge in street-style eats by Tamarind’s head chef Daniel Jarrett, up your wine wisdom at a Riesling masterclass and embrace the weekend mood with live tunes by guitarist Dan McGarhan. Grab your mates, a picnic blanket and spend an afternoon relaxing on the lawn while downing all the Xinjiang-style lamb bao buns you can.

Tickets from $99, available here.

Rosé And Cheese Party: Saturday February 22

For one day only, Brisbane's food truck hub, Welcome To Bowen Hills, will transform itself into every girl group's dream catch-up setting: a rosé and cheese mecca.

To pay homage to the heavenly pairing, the event will play host to local wineries and DJs, and feature a truckload of rosé, frosé and sparkling rosé. While details are yet to be announced, here's hoping the cheese offering is just as assorted. Fondue sticks at the ready.

For more details see the event listing here.
